Contemporary glass and ceramics
From Peter Bremers to Betty Woodman
The highlight of this exhibition is a selection of glass objects by Dutch artist Peter Bremers, recently donated to the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag by a private collector. Thanks to this wonderful gift, the museum is now able to offer visitors a representative overview of the imposing oeuvre created by this internationally renowned artist over the last fifteen years. The contemporary glass and ceramics context in which these pieces are placed including work by Alexandra Engelfriet, Mieke Groot, Caroline Prisse, Matteo Thun and Lino Tagliapietra reveals the many possibilities that the age-old materials of glass and clay still offer the artist today.
